Don't give up! The road to recovery can be long but well worth it; parents often ask me:
Is there some treatment – intervention, test, supplement – that you use in your practice that consistently helps the most kids – a game changer ( and what do you do with someone when that doesn’t work )?
My answer:

“Yes. I see homeopathic drainage remedies as helping to empty the body of toxins that have been stored and help things flow out. This allows all those vitamins and nutrients you’re giving your child to actually get assimilated and used by the body cells. Almost all practitioners – doctors, naturopaths, nutritionists – miss this critical step. Toxin binders are also important to capture toxins in the colon and help them go out of the body, rather than get reabsorbed with water back into the body and redistribute. I typically ask the body what it wants and needs (using muscle testing). This way, I can customize either a supplement, binder or a healing session to help some part of the body work more efficiently. I do this through NeuroModulation Technique (NMT), which is essentially assessing various metabolic functions, and retraining the body systems to do the right thing.”

The expert doctors below are amazing, each having their perspectives and tips. Doctors are required to see their patients in person. If you cannot get to one of the doctors below due to physical distance or a long waiting list, feel free to reach out. I'll do my best to help guide you to shift your child's behaviors!
While I am not a medical doctor, I do look holistically at why the behaviors are there and help shift behaviors with nutrition, opening up the body's systems so built up stressors, like toxicity, flows out.

“ I do a lot of research in the area of the gut and I really think that treating the gut for me has made the biggest difference in most of my patients! What that really means is getting rid of the bad stuff that's bothering the gut inhibiting digestion and absorption… For me things like digestive enzymes and antimicrobial bio-film protocols have been big game changers.
I would say number two for me would be chelation or detoxification…I would say the number one place that's toxic is the gut and by detoxifying the gut you can help detoxify the body because in the body we have some place for it to dump – because the gut is toxic and the body doesn't want to dump more stuff there so it holds on to it.”

“Okay, so the new kid on the block would be the gluten-free, dairy-free diet that works 80% of the time and it's like, there's not very much in autism management that works 80% of the time. That one works good, the next one would be the B-12 injections. Nobody likes to give their kids injections but it can be a game-changer for language, focus, concentration, eye contact, they just come alive. Of course that goes along with the support of the whole methylation pathway and a lot of the parents know what I'm talking about when I say methylation pathway. Giving them some very special form of Folinic Acid can be a game-changer for language!
You know in my practice I'd probably say about 80 percent of the kids that I have the privilege of taking care of, their IQs are intact! We did not damage their IQs from whatever caused this catastrophe in the first place. Twenty percent of the children they have some real struggles with their IQs. Something's not working right and it's tough but 80 percent they're there, so if we can just uncover the layers of the onion that are keeping them from expressing themselves, from understanding, what you're saying – they're there. We can reach in there, it's like parents tell me, “I didn't know that she was so bright”… They'll say, “I always knew because moms always know but she just couldn't demonstrate it for anybody” and it's like now she is. So that's kind of exciting! “

- I just received an ASD (or SPD, developmental delay or other neurodevelopmental) diagnosis. What should I do? What can I do on my own, before the doctor visit, to help?
- I’ve been doing biomedical treatments, detox, therapies and been to several doctors for years. I’ve seen some incremental gains, but no real huge leaps. Now what do I do?
- Is there some treatment – intervention, test, supplement – that you use in your practice that consistently helps the most kids – a game changer (and what do you do with someone when that doesn’t work)?
- Can you give some insight into what is underlying some of the following behaviors and what to do? Tantrums/aggression, crying for apparently no reason, fears and anxiety for no apparent reason, stimming/hand flapping/rocking?
- Can you give some insights or what to do about when a child is stuck in a rigid behavior, has echolalia, not using expressive language, running away.
- What’s your number one go-to for constipation? Tantrums? picky eating?
