I know I can do more,
but not sure what.

You've made some progress with your child's recovery, have tried a few successful things – maybe the gluten-free, dairy-free diet, maybe added some supplements and therapies like ABA, OT, ST. Perhaps you have seen a specialist or two (or many!).

You've spent tens of thousands of dollars! But you still haven't seen all the results you want.

You know there is more you can do to help your child, but aren't sure what.

You're in the right place! I can promise we've got steps that can take your child further, perhaps to complete recovery.

Next Steps

Assess gut function, address gut healing, direct immune and nervous system healing

This process includes diet changes, adding certain supplements, like probiotics, digestive enzymes, Ion Biome Gut Healing (formerly Restore), or amino acids. There are so many things one can look at regarding the digestive system, including liver and gall bladder function, leaky gut, constipation/diarrhea, gut infections, digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

While working on the gut, it's important to correct immune system dysfunction, which leads to so much gut and neuroinflammation (a hallmark of autism).

Lastly, working on restructuring the brain will help with under-developed areas, healing chronically inflamed areas, and integrating primitive reflexes so higher functions of the brain can fully develop. This can be accomplished through NeuroModulation Technique (NMT), like neurofeedback, or retraining of the brain.

Scheduling a Next Steps Discovery Consultation below will give you a chance to discuss your child's particular issues.

Detoxification and Drainage

Your child must be eliminating the built up toxins in their system – and most kids on the spectrum are poor at doing this. Toxins like heavy metals, plastics, fire retardants, herbicides/pesticides, auto exhaust and microbial toxins (both from inside and outside the body) must find their way out of the cells, the brain, other organs and tissues.

In order for this to happen, their systems of elimination must be working well!

What many doctors don't address – even autism recovery specialists – is drainage, or opening the routes for toxins that leave the body. This means paying attention to what happens with cellular waste, the lymphatic system, the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, lungs, spleen and skin. Has your child had these functions assessed?

Work With Luminara -
Body Biomap Assessment and Heath Protocol

autism recovery, ahdh, sensory processing disorder

Through various assessments, I create an internal “Biomap” of the body, looking at what is dysfunctional and what can be improved (Hint: it all can improve!).

Assessments include drainage systems, cellular detoxification efficiency,  key biochemical functions including of methylation and mitochondrial function,  chronic infection load, autoimmune behavior, toxin load including metals. Get more detail about the Body Biomap Assessment.

After assessments, you'll get a customized protocol for your child to help correct the internal dysfunction – which leads to incredible changes in autism behaviors!

And if you feel called to work with Luminara, apply to get on a free call to see if you'd be a fit to work together!
